About James Thompson

James Thompson is an APA-titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist with 20 years’ experience across elite sport, the military and private practice. He specialises in running injuries, foot/ankle issues, tendinopathy, masters athletes, and low-back and pelvic pain. He’s treated nationally and internationally ranked runners across track, XC, triathlon and ultra-trail, and has carried a lifelong obsession with running mechanics — starting from the moment he borrowed a book at age ten on “how to run faster.”
