Adelaide Marathon Festival 2025

This iconic race, now in its 47th edition, weaves through the heart of the Adelaide CBD, showcasing the city’s major scenic locations. Despite challenges, this race has persevered, even running during the peak of COVID-19, providing a safe and unforgettable experience for all participants. The 2025 event promises a 2-lap course with approximately 160 meters of elevation gain, offering a spectator-friendly route that allows friends and family to easily cheer on the runners. The event’s start location will be unveiled in November, potentially in front of the Adelaide Oval on War Memorial Drive, setting the stage for an epic journey through Bonython Park, River Torrens, Botanic Gardens, Uniloop, and more. This AIMS certified course opens doors for participants to qualify for prestigious races like the Boston Marathon, with prize money up for grabs for top finishers in various categories. The Adelaide Marathon Festival is organized by the South Australian Road Runners Club (SARRC), a not-for-profit running club committed to promoting the joy of running for all.
