TRR Murphys Creek Challenge

Welcome to the iconic TRR Murphys Creek Challenge presented by the Toowoomba Road Runners in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. Lace-up your shoes and get ready for an unforgettable experience in the heart of nature.

• Date: Sunday, September 8, 2024
• Location: Murphys Creek Recreation Reserve, Dodts Road, Murphys Creek
• Distances: 7km, 14km, 21.1km half marathon

Event Highlights:

• 7km Run/Walk: Perfect for trail running/walking enthusiasts with an undulating course.
• 14km & 21.1km Half Marathon: Includes a challenging climb up Penderest Road amidst breathtaking scenery.

• Half Marathon: 7:00 am
• 14km Event: 7:20 am
• 7km Event: 7:30 am
• Race Briefing: 6:50 am
• Finish Deadline: 10:00 am

Course Details:

• Scenic out and back course starting and finishing at Murphys Creek Recreation Reserve
• Dirt roads and 4WD tracks with stunning views
• Water stops at turnaround points and the 5km mark

Post-Event Festivities:

• Enjoy a vibrant post-event area with a sausage sizzle, coffee van, and TRR merchandise stalls
• Running clubs can set up tents for their members
