Location: Gold Coast, QueenslandJoin the 14th anniversary of the von Bibra Mitsubishi Gold Coast Running Festival and experience the excitement of running on a fast, closed-road circuit under the sunny skies of the Gold Coast. With a variety of distances, this event is perfect for runners and walkers of all levels, offering a fun and family-friendly day for everyone!
Event Distances & Details
3/4 Marathon (31.65km)
- Course: A 3-lap course, with each lap equaling 1/4 of a marathon.
- Drink Stations: 5 drink stops per lap, totaling 11 stops, including the recovery station. Sports drinks are available at the far and near turn stations, with water at all others.
- Special Needs: A designated table at the near turn drink station (accessible at 10.5km per lap). Place clearly marked food or drinks before the race.
- Cut-Off Time:
- Participants must start their final lap by 8:30 AM.
- Roads reopen at 9:30 AM; participants still on the course will need to move to the footpath.
Half Marathon (21.1km)
- Course: A 2-lap course, each lap equaling 1/4 of a marathon.
- Drink Stations: 5 drink stops per lap, totaling 11 stops, including the recovery station. Sports drinks are available at the far and near turn stations, with water at all others.
- Special Needs: A designated table at the near turn drink station (accessible at 10.5km). Place clearly marked food or drinks before the race.
- Cut-Off Time:
- Participants must start their second lap by 8:30 AM.
- Roads reopen at 9:30 AM; participants still on the course will need to move to the footpath.
10km Run
- Course: A single-lap race. The far turn is indicated by a BLACK 10km turn sign.
- Drink Stations: 5 drink stops, with sports drinks available at the far turn station and water at all others.
