Escape to the mountains and the dense rainforests of The Dandenongs for a day filled with fresh air and freedom. The Silvan area of the Dandenongs is simply magnificent, making this race a favorite among many runners, despite its challenging course. Imagine running through mighty Mountain Ash forests, passing lush tree ferns, and crossing gullies of verdant undergrowth while accompanied by the local birdlife, including crimson rosellas, kookaburras, and the superb lyrebird.

The start/finish area at The Silvan Reservoir Park offers a picturesque setting, surrounded by eucalypt and deciduous trees, providing a perfect event HQ for all participants. While the park is currently closed to the public, it will be open exclusively for the event, ensuring a seamless race experience.

For spectators, the Event Expo near the finish line is the place to be to cheer on runners as they complete their challenging journey through the stunning trails of Silvan. Take in the impressive sight of the 43m high and 644m long reservoir dam wall, a true spectacle blending nature and architecture.

After the race, explore the charming townships, forest trails, and local eateries of the Dandenong Ranges for a well-rounded experience in this natural wonderland.
