Castle Hill Trail Run

More Details Coming Soon! This event, being early in the the year, is designed to get people into trail running and utilise Townsville’s biggest icon. Castle Hill, just meters short of a mountain, is the city’s most popular walking and running destination. The trails are nothing short of a trail runners dream, flowy single track, challenging climbs, rewarding descents and spectacular views over the city as well as Magnetic Island and beyond. Don’t be fooled by the shorter distances in kilometres as in trail running you also have to take into account the elevation and technicality of the terrain. There is stairs and rock scrambles to be conquered, but the finish line will leave you with a sense of achievement and a want for more.
