Narrowneck Night Run Course Description
Starting at the Narrowneck Lookout, runners are guided down the stairs to the Narrowneck Firetrail for an out-and-back course that offers breathtaking views over the valley. The 14km course turns around at the 6.88km aid station, while the 24.7km course reaches the trail's end at the 12.2km aid station before returning. Both courses bring runners back to the Narrowneck Lookout carpark, with a final ascent up the stairs.
Nighttime Trail Running Experience
Runners begin in daylight, soaking in the sunset, before the night takes over, adding a unique challenge to the return leg. The course is straightforward, running along the ridge line of Narrowneck and marked with pink tape at any potential junctions. Although it’s a clear path, misty conditions can make for a thrilling and slightly challenging experience.
