If you haven't worked it out already, our races are named after the range of popular Mountain Goat Beer! Since 2018, the Mountain Goat Trail Runners have built a truly remarkable event series. Many hands from club members prepared, planned, set up, packed up, cheered, flipped sausages and shared a laugh with hundreds of entrants from across Australia. The team at Run Vault are more than proud to continue and build this series in one of the fastest growing sports in Australia, trail running! SERIES RACE DATES FOR 2025 PENDING - SAVE THE DATE

Get ready for an exhilarating trail running experience at the Hightail Trail Race! Picture yourself starting halfway up Mt Coot-Tha along Scenic Drive, feeling the rush of the downhill fire trail before tackling the challenging Pinnacles track and the thrilling Powerful Owl trail. As you navigate the Eugenia circuit and push your limits on the Litchfield track, anticipation builds for the final sprint down Mahogany track to complete your 12km trail adventure.
- Where: Legacy Car Park, Mt Coot-Tha
- When: Sunday, June 8th, 2025 (Registration from 6:15 am, Race starts at 8 am)
- Distances: 12km of diverse and exciting trails
- Early Bird Pricing available until March 31st, 2025
- Individual Race Entry: $79
- Standard Race Entry from April 1st, 2025
- Individual Race Entry: $95
- Trail Series Race Entry from January 1st to June 6th, 2025
- Two races: $158 – $237 (Hightail, Billy, Surefoot)
- On the Day Entry: $110 per race
