Two Bays Trail Run Training & Preparation
Course Recon Runs
Leading up to the event, join guided training runs covering sections of the trail. These are ideal for testing gear, hydration, and nutrition strategies.
Mandatory Gear
- Hydration: A device carrying at least 500ml is required.
- Compression Bandage: For snake bites.
- Trail Shoes: While optional, they are recommended for better grip on varied surfaces.
- Navigation: The course is marked with blue wren signs and orange ribbons, but downloading GPS maps or using a trail app is encouraged.
Aid Stations
Aid stations are strategically placed along the course for both 28km and 56km runners:
- 28km: Rosebud (7.5km), Hyslops Rd (12km), Greens Bush East (18km), and Boneo Rd (22km)
- 56km: Additional stops at Greens Bush West, Dromana, and repeat checkpoints
Getting There & Parking
Dromana Start (28km)
Ample street and car park spaces are available near Permien St. Please park legally and respect local residents.
Cape Schanck Start/Finish
Limited parking near the Cape Schanck Lighthouse. Additional spaces are available at Fingal Picnic Area (1.6km away). A shuttle service is included for 28km runners post-race.
