Mt Portal Trail Run
Get ready to immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of the Blue Mountains National Park at the Mt Portal Trail Run! Lace up your running shoes and prepare to conquer the trails on Sunday, 16th March 2025 starting at 7:30 am. The event kicks off at the Red Gum camping area in Euroka Clearing, Glenbrook, offering two exciting distances to choose from: 11 km and 17.5 km.
Event Highlights:

- Terrain: Fire trails, single tracks, challenging climbs
- Activities: Stunning Mt Portal Lookout, scenic Campfire Creek trail
- Cut Offs: 2-hour cut off at aid station two, 3-hour cut off for the race finish
The course winds through picturesque landscapes, from Bennets Ridge Firetrail to the Nepean River Trail, offering a mix of terrains to delight both novice and seasoned trail runners. Experience the rush of adrenaline as you navigate the Goat Track, Portal Waterhole trail, and Campfire Creek trail, each offering a unique challenge and a chance to connect with nature.
Runners can look forward to a post-race treat with a free coffee/hot chocolate from the coffee van, followed by a delicious hot meal and a refreshing drink at the finish line. Volunteers are welcomed to join and contribute to the event's success in various roles, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.
