Race Distances & Start Times
All events start and finish at Mornington Park, Schnapper Point:
- 21.1km Half Marathon: 7:10 AM (Rego closes 6:45 AM)
- 10km Fun Run: 7:35 AM (Rego closes 7:15 AM)
- 5km Fun Run: 7:50 AM (Rego closes 7:30 AM)
- 1km Kids Dash: 10:15 AM (Rego closes 9:45 AM)
Pricing
Early bird rates are available until February 28, 2025, with on-day registration possible for a higher fee:
- Half Marathon: $80–$120
- 10km Fun Run (Adult): $60–$80
- 10km Fun Run (U18): $50–$70
- 5km Fun Run (Adult): $50–$65
- 5km Fun Run (U18): $40–$55
- 1km Kids Dash: $25–$40
Awards & Prizes
- Half Marathon: $500 for 1st place (Male & Female) and $500 for a new course record.
- 10km Fun Run: $250 for 1st place and $200 for a new course record.
- 5km Fun Run: $150 for 1st place and $150 for a new course record.
Mornington Running Festival Course Highlights
Half Marathon (21.1km)
An out-and-back course that starts on the Esplanade at Mornington Park. Runners head south toward Stanley Crescent, just past Mount Martha Village. Expect rolling coastal hills, stunning ocean views, and the peaceful sounds of the beach as you challenge yourself to the scenic elevation profile.
10km Course
Following the same route as the half marathon, the turnaround is near Craigie Road, offering a shorter yet equally stunning run along the Esplanade.
5km Course
A beginner-friendly course with a turnaround just past Strachans Road, this event is perfect for families, casual runners, and walkers who want to enjoy the coastal beauty.
1km Kids Dash
A fun-filled, untimed event for kids under 10, starting and finishing at Mornington Park. Parents are welcome to run alongside their children to create lasting memories.
