Whether you’re chasing a personal best or enjoying a social run, Hills to Henley invites you to experience the thrill of off-road running set against the backdrop of South Australia’s beautiful Linear Park system.


Race Distances – Choose Your Challenge

Hills to Henley 2025 offers multiple race options to suit every runner’s ability and ambition:

  • 30km – An epic journey starting at Athelstone Recreation Reserve and finishing at Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve, West Beach.
  • 21.1km – A half-marathon distance beginning at Felixstowe Reserve, taking you all the way to West Beach.
  • 10km – A challenging out-and-back course from Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve, perfect for pushing your limits.
  • 5km – A brisk out-and-back run from Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve designed for a quick burst of speed or a fun family challenge.

Note: The exact course details will be confirmed closer to the date due to ongoing Linear Trail works.

  • Friday, 25 July 2025: 12:00pm – 5:30pm at RunDNA, 20 Manton St, Hindmarsh
  • Saturday, 26 July 2025: 9:00am – 12:00pm at RunDNA, 20 Manton St, Hindmarsh

On Race Day (Sunday 27 July 2025):

  • Bib Collection for 30km & 21.1km: Available at their respective start locations from 7:00am.
  • Bib Collection for 10km & 5km: Available at Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve from 7:00am.

  • 6:20am: Bus Departures for 30km (ATHELSTONE Bus #1) from Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve
  • 6:30am: Bus Departures for 21.1km (Felixstowe Bus #1) from Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve
  • 6:30am: Additional Bus for 30km (ATHELSTONE Bus #2)
  • 6:45am: Optional Bus for 30km (ATHELSTONE Bus #3, if needed)
  • 6:50am: Additional Bus for 21.1km (Felixstowe Bus #2)
  • 7:00am: Bib Collection opens across all start locations
  • 8:00am:
    • 30km start at Athelstone Recreation Reserve
    • 21.1km start at Felixstowe Reserve
    • 10km start at Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve
  • 8:15am: 5km start at Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve
  • 9:00am – 11:00am: Award ceremonies for various distances
  • 12:30pm: Course closure

Course Details and Maps

Each course is designed to showcase the beauty of South Australia’s Linear Park:

  • 30km Course: Run from Athelstone Recreation Reserve to Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve, West Beach. Facilities (bib collection, bag drop, and toilets) available at the start.
  • 21.1km Course: Begins at Felixstowe Reserve with on-site bag drop and toilets.
  • 10km and 5km Courses: Both start and finish at Harold & Cynthia Anderson Reserve, featuring an out-and-back layout.

Every finish is celebrated with:

Additional Information

  • Drink Stations: Eight water and electrolyte stations are strategically placed every 3–4 km.
  • Support & Safety: First Aid, volunteers, and marshals will be on course to ensure your safety throughout the event.
  • Transport: Pre-start bus transport is available from the finish to the 30km and 21.1km start locations. Bus tickets can be purchased via our registration portal.
