Since 1975 the City to Surf Perth has been more than a 12-kilometre dash to the Indian Ocean: it’s a street-party fundraiser that turns St Georges Terrace into a sea of colour, carries that wave through leafy suburbs and deposits thousands of smiling finishers on the sand at City Beach Oval. Every registration helps Activ deliver services for Western Australians living with disability, so every kilometre you cover truly matters.

Why the City to Surf Perth feels special

  • Start-to-sand storyline – from the heart of the CBD you crest the Oceanic Drive rise and glimpse blue water calling you home.

  • Closed-road freedom – police and 400 volunteers keep the course traffic-free; your kids can zig-zag without worry.

  • Every shirt funds Activ – entry fees and pledges support accommodation, employment and community programs for people with disability.

  • Iconic finish-line oval – collect your medal, kick off your shoes and celebrate on grass barely 100 metres from the surf.
