Winter Solstice Fun Run - Embrace the Magic of Running in Nature

Welcome to the Winter Solstice Fun Run, a breathtaking event where running meets the beauty of the Great South West Walk in Portland. Experience the thrill of running on single tracks and sandy beaches, immersing yourself in the essence of trail running at its finest.

• Location: Great South West Walk, Portland
• Distances: 60km Ultra, Marathon, Half Marathon, Quarter Marathon, Relays
• Activities: Trail running, beach sections, road marathon, relays

Event Details:

• Saturday, November 2nd

  • 6:30 am Start - Embark on the 60km Ultra, an epic coastal trail run showcasing the best of nature. (Entry Fee: $120)

• Sunday, November 3rd

  • 9:45 am Start - Join the quarter marathon, a flat and fast route with minimal elevation gain, perfect for all levels. (Entry Fee: $40)
  • 6:00 am Walk, 8:00 am Run Start - Celebrate the 35th year of the prestigious road marathon, with around 300m of elevation gain, challenging you to push your limits. (Entry Fee: $90)
  • Various Start Times - Engage in relay races suitable for all, from kids marathons to four-person relays. Choose from primary school, secondary school, 4-person, or 8-person relays. (Entry Fee: $50 - $160)
  • 9:45 am Start - Conquer the classic half marathon, tracing the picturesque second half of the marathon course with approximately 100m of elevation gain. (Entry Fee: $60)

Special Challenge:

• Ultra Marathon & Marathon Combo - Conquer the 60km Ultra on Saturday, and for an additional $10 at the finish line, become a legend by marathoning on Sunday. (Entry Fee: Ultra Trail Finish + $10)
