Trailsplus is a small family-owned business that aims to provide running events that are fun and inclusive for all ages and abilities, located in beautiful, interesting and challenging environments. We promote family involvement and encourage, facilitate and celebrate the achievement of people’s individual personal goals.The passion behind Trailsplus grew from founder and race director, Brett Saxon’s, personal desire and mission to regain fitness, health and life-balance. From a rut of long work hours and poor fitness, in 2005 he embarked on a regimented training exercise program culminating in a challenge that would keep him focused and benefit others.His challenge was to raise $25,000 for young people living with cancer through the Canteen organisation by running 160km in 24hrs. Coming in just over the 24hrs, the funds were raised and proudly presented to Canteen. Trailsplus continues to support Canteen today by raising money through race entry fees.
